Lexar may be synonymous with storage and memory for years. Since the inception of this column, I have been fortunate to check most new offerings from Lexar, including flash drives, SSD drives and card readers. Last week I got a hold to two great offerings. Luckily, I have a good amount of them, so I am never without backup media. The two new drives that have been tested were the Jump Drive P10 as well as the Jump Drive S23. Both drives were immediately recognized by Windows 8, OSx Mountain Lion , Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Ubuntu 12.04. The larger of the two flash drives (The P10) was create with Apples time machine since the support drive. They are fast and compact. iHome, continues to be producing inexpensive (notice the adjective is always that, rather than CHEAP) accessories to your iOS devices for quite a while. Each device offers top quality, big sound and great value, in comparison to higher (possibly over priced) priced products. The iDL45 is yet another one of those great products. It features a lightning connector for your newest iOS products, but additionally a USB (dual) charging and playing port for legacy products. It also contains a large numeric clock display, along with dual alarms and an AM/FM radio. The sound was unexpectedly impressive. So you own a Mac Book. How many times have you ever said '$#%^*#(, I cant believe I deleted that. What the #$%^& am I going to do now'? That being said, that has been me earlier within the week. I deleted a bunch of files to create more room, and located that I deleted my Outlook 2011 database file. Frantically, I researched to the best recovery software. In conversing with friends with the Apple Store and in addition Apple directly, a couple of names came up. The one common denominator, was Data Rescue 3 by Prosoft Engineering. Install was as close to instant as you can. Once that's done, the full scan took about 5 minutes. Then the song 'Hallelujah' was played during my head, as I found the precise file I had wrongly (euphemism for stupidly) deleted. When restoring it, it absolutely was fully restored and totally intact. There was NO LOSS what so ever. Who doesn't prefer to spend less ? Bill Gates ? The Woz ? Warren Buffet ? Of course. For the rest of us, saving money is a great thing in order to do. As you could know, some coupon sites are somewhat 'scamish' with their ad-ware and browser ad-ons. Well, Food available just isn't some of those sites. It lets you find recipes, plan meal for any day, per week or longer. It will then take your data and tell in which the ingredients would be the lowest priced. It will provide you with the coupons too, so it is indeed a no brainer.
Now for the little fun. I used to have one particular gaming addiction in my iPhone. It is words with friends. At any given time, I can have approximately 10 games simultaneously. I started however, getting invites because of this game called 'Candy Crush'. I never imagined much about this, until I saw a fellow gymnastics parent playing it. So I downloaded it.
